Welcome to the official website of Airfreight Forwarders Association of Malaysia (2019)(“AFAM”, “we”, “our”, “us”). By accessing or using this website, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please refrain from using this site.

2. Use of Website

You agree to use this website for lawful purposes only and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of, restrict, or inhibit anyone else’s use of the website. Prohibited behaviour includes transmitting unlawful, harmful, or offensive content.

3. Intellectual Property

3.1 All content, trademarks, logos, and other materials displayed on this site are the property of AFAM unless otherwise stated. All logos of government agencies and partners used on this website are not the property of AFAM. Unauthorized use is strictly prohibited. This website should not be copied, redistributed, used or published by you in any manner.

3.2 The viewing, printing, downloading of any content, graphic, form or document from the this website grants you only a limited, non-exclusive license for use and not for republication, distribution, assignment, sale, preparation of derivative works or other use.  You do not acquire any ownership rights to any content, document or other material viewed through this website.

7. Use of AFAM Member Account

7.1 Your right to use the AFAM Members Login / website pages is non-transferable. Any account, username and password registered, entered or given is to be used solely for the member for which it is issued for. In the event AFAM discovers / believes that an AFAM Member account is accessed by a non-member or used for any other purpose, AFAM reserves the right to terminate the account with immediate effect without assigning any reason.

7.2 All documents published on or through this website are the property of AFAM, unless stated otherwise.

7.3 All documents available in the File Directory are for reference and repository. Should there be any information that is unclear or incomplete AFAM shall not be held responsible for the same. All members are requested to check for the latest updates at all times with admin@afam.org.my.

7.4 Access to the AFAM Members Login / website pages is subject to the complete payment of the membership fees in accordance with the AFAM Constitution and Sub-Regulations.

8. Limitation of Liability & Disclaimer

8.1 AFAM disclaims all liability for use of any information on this website / links to any other website or social media account. Further, the website may contain bugs, errors and other limitations.

8.2 To the maximum extent permitted by law, AFAM shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use this website.

8.3 We do not provide any document, advice or information to create any warranty, representation or guarantee.

9. Personal Data

Your use of this website and any and all submission of personal data is deemed to be your consent for AFAM to process the personal data for association matters according to Malaysian law.

11.1 These Terms & Conditions and the use of this Website shall be considered as though they were performed and/or executed in Malaysia and shall be governed by the laws of Malaysia.

11.2 Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.

    12. Miscellaneous

 12.1 Should any part of these Terms and Conditions be held invalid or unenforceable, that portion shall not affect the validity of the rest of the Terms and Conditions which shall remain in full force and effect.

12.2 In the event any of the terms and conditions are inconsistent, the parties shall give effect to the reasonable clause as it would be applicable in Malaysia.
